Trystan 2024 | Northern Michigan Sunflower Field Senior Portraits
Prepare to see this face a lot more often, because my oldest has officially embarked on his senior year of high school, and let me tell you, this mama is absolutely not prepared for it!
When we talked about the subject of his senior pictures, he had quite a tall order including a sunflower field. Amid the business of summer, between jobs, sports and even dealing with his broken ankle, it seemed like summer faded into the fall so fast and we might've missed the opportunity to find a flower field to his liking.
At least until a friend came through and called knowing someone with a sunflower field that was still in bloom, but quickly fading. That evening we hurried up, grabbed the doggos, and headed over.
Golden hour fresh with the sun beginning to sink, the golden hues of the least little bit of life in the flowers, and a lot of puppy treats - we made it happen, and I might be a little biased, but he SHINED in these flowers.
Here's to the last first day of school - the highs and lows, the laughter and tears. To everything he's worked so hard for the past 12 years and everything the future holds. I already know this year will fly by, and I'm so excited and sad to see it happen.
