Dan and Dawn celebrated their 5th anniversary by renewing their vows at the charming Little Stone Church on Mackinac Island. They had the idea of traveling somewhere new every five years to exchange their vows again, maybe even a little ring upgrade. Talk about the epitome of married goals!
The day began meeting Dawn at her hotel room to get into her dress and meet the taxi carriage to take us to the Little Stone Church where I met with Dan, who you could tell was incredibly excited. The expression on his face as she entered the church - you could tell the love between them was undeniable as they read their vows with passion and joy.
After the ceremony, the couple enjoyed a dreamy private carriage ride around Mackinac Island, soaking in the beauty and taking a moment to savor their special day together. It was the perfect way to embrace Mackinac Island’s timeless vibes while creating more memories.
We then headed to the Grand Hotel for portraits around the property. From the vibrant blooms in the iconic secret garden to beautiful views of the famous Grand Hotel porch. As we wrapped up our time together, Dan and Dawn headed off on the carriage to have a romantic dinner at the Woods Restaurant, a hidden gem nestled among the islands interior. The afternoon was the perfect way to celebrate the occasion and I can’t help but wonder where they pick next!
