Luke + Jasmine | Sunrise Elopement in Marquette, MI

As a Marquette elopement photographer I was honored to document Luke and Jasmine’s morning elopement.
Starting at sunrise, I met Luke at the iconic Old Ore Dock for a first look with Jasmine as the sun began to rise over Lake Superior and blanket us with golden light and beauty. The two of them seeing each other for the first time today in the stillness of morning without another soul around made the moment so intimate and tranquil for the both of them to soak in this moment.
Following their first look, Luke and Jasmine took to the marina to exchange their vows in private aboard their boat “Blue’s Crew” as the sun continued to rise over the horizon and light up the day, reflecting off the calm waters of the harbor.
Following their vows, we took to exploring Marquette for beautiful portraits of the two of them and their dog Blue for the few hours leading up to the ceremony, hitting a few of their favorite spots to visit. From the Old Ore Dock, to the Marquette Lighthouse and Harlow Lake we made the most of our time together creating dreamy, adventurous and romantic moments before we headed to the beach for an official ceremony.
Rounding off the morning was Little Presque Isle Park - towering pines, the Lake Superior Shore and a nearly empty beach made for the perfect setting to say the “I do’s” and that first kiss together with their closest family and friends there to witness the moment.
